superfood smoothie.

I am admittedly kind of a health nerd. I have been for what seems like forever. But I've always had a problem with green smoothies because my mom made me drink a powdered green shake when I was in highschool and it pretty much scarred me. So I have stayed away from any green liquids for a long time. Anyways, I recently had a smoothie at my fave raw vegan restaurant rawlicious, and I loved it, so I decided to make my own version at home. 

This smoothie is super healthy, with goji berries, chlorella, cacao nibs, spinach, banana and vegan protein powder. It is packed with nutrients and is yummy too! Thank goodness. Because if it tasted like grass there would be no way that I would drink it. I don't drink grass, okay?

So here are the details, and they are not's just a rough estimate as I generally just throw stuff in! 

1 banana

1 large handful of baby spinach

1/4 cup of goji berries

1/6 cup of cacao nibs

1 teaspoon of chlorella powder

1 scoop of vegan protein powder

2 cups of cashew/almond milk (or however much you prefer)
