fall basics
When it starts to get cold, I often gravitate more towards black basics for everyday, out of both practicality and comfort. I tend to feel most like myself in understated basics. I'm also 6ft tall, so sometimes I'd like to blend in as much as I can (hence the all black).
The older I get ,the more I realize that investing in pieces that I feel really comfortable and authentic in, but are also really practical for my lifestyle. I could style this crew neck knit from the Zara origins collection so many ways, especially with these slim jeans from cos and fave oversized blazer from The Frankie Shop. These are all pieces I know I will wear on rotation all winter long. I've styled these jeans, knit and blazer two ways here, with boots and sandals for an easy transitional outfit change, for when it's freezing in the morning and warmer in the afternoon.
Outfit details below!
