proper pants

I wear joggers a lot. I guess that's just because I don't have an office to go to so I have no need to get dressed up, but these trousers make me want to get dressed up. The fit is just perfect. And I've tried SO many trousers, and really struggled with fit because I'm so tall. I definitely think that finding your perfect fit in a pair of black pants is a great investment, because when it comes to basics, it's all about the details, and the fit is probably the most important of those details. I love these because the high waist and wide fit are actually quite flattering and elongate the leg. They are the perfect length for me too, so probably if you're short they're going to need to be hemmed. I'd wear them with a t-shirt or even a crop top and a blazer would work to dress them up or down, and I love them with a chunky knit and sandals for a put together but still comfy early fall look.
