the vandermarck

If I'm going to go away, I always prefer to stay somewhere beautiful - it makes the stay so much more enjoyable, right!? This hotel was really just stunning. I just LOVED The Vandermarck and can't wait to go back. It's built in an old home, but so beautifully renovated, and still keeps some of the original details, like the staircase and front door leading up to the hotel. The minimal decor is on point and the kitchen is one that my dreams are made of. I would really just take this whole living space home with me if I could. Also the sink in the kitchen...it's SO good. Like minimal perfection.

Also loved downtown Collingwood because it's super cute - so many nice shops and little coffee places (like Gibson & Co.) and a killer vegan restaurant, Press Juice Co, that I didn't manage to get to, but really wished I had because it was highly recommended (this is the hard part about having little kids...travelling with them means nap time comes priority over going where I want to. Agh!). And the hotel is also close to Blue Mountain which we wandered around a bit in and I always love just because it's so pretty and has so many great shops and restaurants.

Do you want to check out the Vandermarck? They've offered my followers a special promo code to get 20% off! Amazing, no? Use the code MELO20 at booking to get 20% off on any length of stay. It cannot be combined with any other offers and the stay must be booked by May 15th 2020.
